Shionogi 2018 European Symposiums

THE PROJECT
Japanese pharmaceutical firm Shionogi is dedicated to developing medicines to help patients worldwide.

THE CHALLENGE
TAKEOFF partnered with Shionogi to help them design, create, build, activate and localise trade stands for the pharmaceutical company for when they were exhibiting at trade shows across Europe during 2018.

EASL 2018

Shionogi exhibited at the five-day European Association for the Study of the Liver congress (EASL) in France in April 2018. TAKEOFF designed and built the Shionogi stand within brand guidelines, activating it via a one-day on-site build.

The trade stand featured highly-visual lit logo placements and graphics, complemented by key information about Shionogi’s products and services. The stand incorporated areas for visitors to sit and talk comfortably with Shionogi representatives, while storage and laptop charging points were also built into the reception desk.

ECCMID 2018

Shionogi exhibited at the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases congress (ECCMID) Spain in April 2018. 

Our team had a bit more space to play with, allowing us to design and activate a trade stand that allowed for a good flow of footfall as well as providing practical use for Shionogi’s brand ambassadors. The build took two days to complete and was live for three days; screens were incorporated to advertise key information to visitors and featured a cloakroom and laptop charging points.

UEG 2018

Shionogi attended the United European Gastroenterology congress (UEG) in Austria at the end of October 2018. 

With a smaller footprint to work with (3m x 4m), we had to make sure the Shionogi stand wasn’t only attractive but practical, too. We actioned a bright and eye-catching stand to entice passing footfall to the brand’s ambassadors. TAKEOFF also designed the animations played on the touchscreens at the stand.
