Forza Horizon 3 – Custom Console
THE GAME
Forza Horizon 3 was lauded at launch in 2016 for its extreme levels of detail and realism. The game was developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios.
THE CHALLENGE
To celebrate the release of the game, we partnered with Microsoft to create a custom Xbox One S console designed around Forza Horizon 3 that simply couldn’t be ignored.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION
TAKEOFF created a jaw-dropping custom Xbox One S made to look like the front of a real-life Mustang sports car. The console front featured headlights, with the Mustang’s grille acting as the disc drive complete with power switch. The top of the hood – adorned with two white racing stripes and a sleek, black finish – has holes for ventilation to give the impression of a car’s engine purring.
Lateral aeration vents could also be found in the console’s side curvatures, all finished with a slick Forza Horizon 3 number plate. The controller had a marvellous matte textured finish; the Mustang console received press attention worldwide, with other consoles based on Audi and Lamborghini vehicles appearing in other international territories.
