Energy & Climate Intelligence Unit – Brand Identity

THE PROJECT
The non-profit UK-based Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) was created to support informed debate on energy and climate change issues in the UK.

THE CHALLENGE
The ECIU approached TAKEOFF to design a strong brand identity that could be instantly recognised throughout their sector, including creating brand guidelines and stationery.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION

TAKEOFF created a bold brand identity for the ECIU featuring powerful reds, strong whites and dark greys which caught the eye and instantly conveyed the ECIU’s identity. Guidelines  were created for colours and fonts (now known internally as ECIU White/Red/Grey), with branding applied to the ECIU’s website, business cards, letterheads and other stationery. 

TAKEOFF also developed a branded booklet to complement and provide further information on its IPCC report. Richard Black, Director of ECIU said the TAKEOFF team provided “excellent client service and a result that met the brief perfectly – communicating our role as an evidence-based organisation informing the national debate”.
